In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, more than 2 lakh votes were cast on 'NOTA' in Indore seat of Madhya Pradesh. It is worth noting that Congress candidate from Indore Akshay Kanti Bam withdrew his nomination on the last day of withdrawal of nomination and joined BJP. This is a new record of the highest number of votes (2,18,674) received by NOTA. BJP's Shankar Lalwani registered the biggest victory on this seat.
