2. इतिहासकार मुहणौत नैणसी, महाकवि मोडजी आशिया व क्षेत्रीय लोगों के अनुसार, पाबूजी राठौड़ का जन्म अप्सरा के गर्भ से हुआ था। उनके अनुसार पाबूजी का जन्म स्थान वर्तमान बाड़मेर शहर से 8 कोस आगे खारी खाबड़ के जूना नामक गांव था।
3. पाबूजी का पूजा स्थल कोलू (फलोदी) में है। यहां कोलू में ही प्रतिवर्ष उनका मेला भी भरता है। क्योंकि वे अपने विवाह के बीच में उठकर गायों को बचाने गए थे जिसकी वजह से उन्हें दूल्हे के वस्त्रों में दिखाया जाता है। उनका प्रतीक चिन्ह हाथ में भाला लिए अश्वारोही के रूप में प्रचलित है।
4. पाबूजी को ग्रामीण लोग लक्ष्मण जी का अवतार मानते हैं और लोकदेवता के रूप में पूजते हैं। जनमानस पाबूजी को ऊँटो के देवता के रूप में भी पूजती है।
