The Congress on Wednesday appointed Praveen Chakraborty as the president of the All India Professionals Congress. He will replace MP Shashi Tharoor. Chakraborty was till now the head of the ‘Data Analytics’ department. “The Congress President has appointed Shri Praveen Chakraborty as the President of the All India Professionals Congress with immediate effect,” All India Congress Committee general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal said in a statement.
